Applications

Arrayit InnoScan 910 and 910AL instruments are ideal for scanning most low-, medium- and high-density microarrays currently available on the market for genotyping, gene expression comparative genomic hybridization (CGH), copy number variation (CNV), DNA methylation, miRNA studies, carbohydrate microarrays, antigen and antibodiy microarrays, proteomics and many other appolications.

The Arrayit InnoScan 1100AL instrument is ideal for rapid and high-performance automated scanning of low-, medium- and high-density microarrays containing DNA, peptides, antibodies, microenvironment sensors, transfected cells, glycans and many other sample types for genotyping, gene expression, comparative genomic hybridization (CGH), copy number variation (CNV), DNA methylation, miRNA studies, biomarker identification, human diseaes analysis, tissue microarray (TMA), tissue immunofluorescence for one-, two- and three-color applications in research, life sciences, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals and other areas.

Technology

Arrayit InnoScan® 910 and 910AL instruments leverage confocal scanning, two lasers, two extremely sensitive analog photomultiplier tubes (PMT), and linear gain from 0.1-100%. Full PMT control makes it easy to adjust scanner sensitivity to read the complete range of microarray signal intensities. Real-time auto-focusing ensures scan uniformity across the entire substrate slide. Extended Dynamic Range (XDR) and 20-bit TIFF images enable dynamic range exceeding 1 x 10^6 and detection of the dimmest signals while avoiding saturation. The 910 and 910AL have excellent photometric properties, particularly in terms of sensitivity and signal-to-noise ratio.
