ArrayIt® is now manufacturing and offering cover slips and other custom glass substrates in various shapes and sizes with a wide variety of surface chemistries. These custom parts are polished to atomic flatness and thus have the same surface topography characteristics as our SuperClean substrates. A wide variety of glass types, thickness, shapes and sizes are possible owing to our in-house glass manufacturing capabilities. Custom glass cover slips and substrates can be used for a wide range of microarray and life sciences applications.

Please e-mail arrayit@arrayit.com with the term “custom” in the subject line for a immediate response and quote. Please provide details on the size and shape of the glass, desired transmission index, desired topography specification, as well as the quantity and surface chemistry required. Quotes are can often be accomplished in 24 hours and entire large-scale custom projects can be completed only a few weeks.

Figure 1. Shown is a 22 mm x 40 mm x 0.2 mm cover slip with a corner chamfer. The surface chemistry in this case is poly-l-lysine and the glass is ArrayIt® brand proprietary water white borosilicate. The product is manufactured and packaged in class 100 cleanrooms, and shipped as 20 pieces per tray. Catalog number is CCSL22x40.
