Microplate Microarraying Using a Plate Handling Module

High throughput microarraying into the flat bottoms of 96 & 384 well plates can be accomplished using a NanoPrint Microarrayer.

Optional Cassette Plate Handling Module

The Microplate Microarrayer system takes advantage of a NanoPrint Microarray Robot coupled with a high speed, bi-directional, modular transportation system designed for the movement of 20 tray cassettes each holding 9 flat bottom 96 well plates per cassette on a storage cart. Users of this system will be empowered to print over 17,000 microarrays, with ~1,000 features with complete automation.

The Microplate Microarrayer is a unique product solution for high throughput printing of microarrays into the bottoms of 96 well plates. The system takes advantage of a modular approach built on reliable and heavy-duty industrial components and electronics. It unique design provides unparalleled speed and proven reliability by eliminating the typical gripper system of microplate handling and issues with tolerance build up that can generate system errors.

Removable storage carts hold the tray cassettes to be processed and can be used interchangeably between multiple systems. The system requires a standard footprint for the tray cassette but allows unlimited flexibility for the variety and combination of custom cassettes that can be created within this footprint. A standard tray cassette can hold up to total of 9 SBS standard plates: microplates, deep well plates, or disposables, however, custom layouts required for specific applications can also be delivered.

The sample cassette may be located anywhere along the conveyor with precise repeatability by means of out patented cassette stopping system that provides precise sensing and locating capability. A cassette position may be adjusted simply by sliding the cassette stop along the conveyor rail.
