TeleChem receives the Rising Star Award!
Sunnyvale, CA, Nov 14, 2002 – The city of Sunnyvale, California honors TeleChem International, Inc. with the Silicon Valley “Rising Star Award” in 2002.
The Rising Star list included an elite group of Silicon Valley businesses selected by the Silicon Valley Business Journal, Deloitte & Touche, and Inc. Magazine for outstanding growth and profitability. This year’s list included TeleChem International, Inc., as well as Ariba, Blue Pumpkin Software, Broadmedia, Cepheid, Interwoven, and OmniVision Technologies.
The award luncheon was co-sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce for the City of Sunnyvale, and Sunnyvale Mayor Fred Fowler presented the awards.
TeleChem International, Inc. was one of only two biotechnology companies on the elite Rising Star list in 2002, providing yet another sign of the company’s strong management and sound fiscal policy in the midst of a slowdown in the high technology sector. The company continues to excel and expand through innovation and by providing superior technology and services in the biotechnology, industrial chemicals, and medical diagnostics markets.
Todd Martinsky, Vice-President of TeleChem International, Inc. said, "We were delighted to meet Mayor Fowler and to be recognized in this way for our achievements. Our team has worked very hard and it is nice to have the support of the City of Sunnyvale as we expand our diversified business in Silicon Valley.”
